Shannon McNally

  • Stoltz Listening Room 40 East Dover Street Easton, MD, 21601 United States

"She has the voice: bruised, smoky and ornery, right at home where country and soul meet. She has the melodies and the timing - she’s irresistible.” — The New York Times

Fresh from opening for the likes of Stephen Stills and Kenny Wayne Shepherd, rocker Shannon McNally makes her debut in the Stoltz!

With a time-stopping voice, born in New York but simultaneously roughed up and refined by New Orleans and Mississippi, McNally has cut a singular path through the musical landscape - one that includes a Grammy nomination and a place on the stage with a who's who of rock, country and soul: Willie Nelson, John Mellencamp, Bonnie Raitt, Vince Gill, Levon Helm, Charlie Sexton, Dr. John, Bobby Rush, Luther and Cody Dickinson, Derek Trucks, and most recently, Americana legend Rodney Crowell who took the producer's chair for her upcoming release on Compass Records.

In a show you don’t want to miss, she’s going to play a collection of transcendent folk-blues and country-rock songs that are poised to solidify her place as a peerless Americana songwriter and performer.

Joining Shannon is Johnny Duke.  After studying Jazz and songwriting at Berklee College of Music, Johnny Duke began touring as the guitarist and multi-instrumentalist with the Grammy-winning Country artists Little Big Town. He played guitar and other instruments on both platinum selling Little Big Town records Tornado and Painkiller.

Johnny has toured with Ashley Monroe, who joined him for a vocal duet on the track Love Me One More Time from Johnny's debut album Reimagine. Other artists he has shared the stage with include Vince Gill, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Lee Ann Womack, Sheryl Crow, Miranda Lambert, Chris Isaak, Chris Stapleton, Jerry Douglas, and Don Was.
