Introduction to Digital Photography

  • Academy Art Museum 106 South Street Easton, MD, 21601 United States

Looking to get more out of your digital camera? Enjoy taking pictures and want to be sure you know how to “get the shot”? This workshop is designed to help the beginner learn how to get the most out of their digital camera. The first day will cover basic camera operation and functions, gaining a better understanding what all the dials, buttons and wheels do on your camera. Time is allocated throughout the day for hands-on practice and discussion. The second day will cover composition and lighting to enhance your ability to capture images, and answer questions that didn’t get answered the first day. A hands- on practice session outdoors, weather permitting, will end the session. Bring a lunch so we can have a round table discussion each day, share experiences, and ask more questions. Additional topics covered based on the experience and desires of the attendees. Minimum of 5 students
