Easton Airport Day is a fun-filled annual event offering the whole family an up close opportunity to visit the local airport and see what flying is all about. The Easton Airport is presenting its seventh annual day this year on Saturday, September 26.
Back by popular demand, Easton Airport Day 2015 will have many fun-filled events. At 9 a.m. the airport will host a 5K Fun Run and 1 Mile Walk on the runways and taxiways. Teams will compete in the Jet Pull Contest starting at 915 a.m. The schedule of activities continues throughout the day with Warbird Formation Flyovers, the World-Famous Rubber Chicken Drop, plane rides and introductory lessons. Displays of unique aircraft and classic cars will also be available.
General admission and parking is free for the entire day. Advance registration with payment is required for teams taking part in Jet Pull and for individuals and families joining the Run/Walk. The Easton Airport Day VIP program offers interested guests a behind-the-scenes look at the unique aircraft that will be flying the formations, a chance to listen in on the pilots’ briefing, the best seats on the tarmac to view the flying formations, lunch and a tour of the tower. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from Easton Ruritan Club and Sugar Buns.
