La De Da Fundraiser

  • La De Da 13 North Harrison Street Easton, MD, 21601 United States

Baywater Animal Rescue and La De Da are joining forces… and paws, to raise awareness of local homeless animals.

Baywater Animal Rescue is one of only 2 NO KILL shelters on the Eastern Shore.  They provide shelter and loving care while trying to find forever homes for these abandoned and stray animals.  Baywater also operates a food pantry for those who need a little assistance with feeding their pets.

Baywater relies solely on private donations from people like you and me.  Because they are a No Kill Shelter, they receive no funding or assistance from the State or County.
La De Da is having a huge weeklong event to help Baywater Animal Rescue fulfill as much of their wish list for their shelter as possible!

Come in anytime between Tuesday, September 8thandSaturday, September 12th and receive an additional 15% OFF your entire purchase!  That’s right!  15% OFF NEW FALL ITEMS!!!

All you have to do is bring in 1 or 100 items from Baywater’s wish list and then shop til you drop!  You can even come in every day with a wish list item and shop all over again!
If you wish to make a cash donation, you can simply make your check out to Baywater Animal Rescue and drop it off anytime by September 12!

Baywater Animal Rescue will be here every day, weather permitting, with some of their fuzzy friends for you to meet as well!  Maybe you’ll find one that you will want to open your heart and home to!

Baywater is located in Dorchester County and since 1947; their staff and volunteers have been caring for and saving animals.  Baywater Animal Rescue, a No Kill humane organization, is dedicated to the principle that every animal deserves to live. By working with people, implementing life-saving programs, and treating each life as precious, they have created an organization that positively affects the lives of countless animals and the people that care about them.

They also work to keep pets in their homes by providing resources for our community.  They offer behavior counseling to help keep pets in homes and their pet food pantry offers food to those in need.  Baywater provides low-cost spay/neuter services in collaboration with veterinarians. Thousands of pets and people in our community are served each year through their efforts.

Baywater Animal Rescue is committed to transparency and has earned the GuideStar Exchange Seal.

La De Da began in early 2006 when Diane Towers & Diane Flagler (aka “The Double D’s”) hatched an idea.  They wanted to open a fun, funky boutique that would offer unique clothing and jewelry!  By Fall of 2006, La De Da opened its doors.  In early 2009, while the economy was tanking, the “Double D’s” decided to move next door to 13 North Harrison Street and quadruple in size!

As time passed, La De Da expanded their sales team with Sarah Keating and Rosemarie Rasin.  La De Da also expanded its inventory of clothing and jewelry, as well as adding fun accessories and gifts!  By the time 2014 rolled around, the “Double D’s” had so many requests to either open another store or an online store that they decided to sit down and have a serious pow-wow!  They decided online was the way to go!  Since neither of them is computer literate, they decided to bring Christina Perez in as their computer guru.  As soon as Christie started babbling computer terminology, they were lost… she soon caught them up!  In late Fall 2014 ladedatoo.com, our online boutique was born!
