Native Harrow

  • Stoltz Listening Room 40 East Dover Street Easton, MD, 21601 United States (map)

“…spectral folk-pop atmospherics created by dreamy lead guitar melodies, stretched rhythms, and reverby vocals.” The Modern Folk Music of America

Native Harrow is a thinking woman’s folk music…recommended if you like the music of late ‘60s Laurel Canyon (Joni Mitchell, CSN&Y), the chill of Nick Drake’s somber beauty, as well as the contemporary folk of Laura Marling.

The sonic palette of her new double album, “Sorores”, also integrates influences as diverse as ‘60s art rock, Hindustani classical music, ‘00s English folk, New York avant-garde jazz, ‘60s jazz pop, ‘80s indie rock, and so much more.

In her own words, “The songs of ‘Sorores’ reflect changes of heart, growth of soul, struggles in my hunt to find life’s magic, and my exploration of the vast world of sounds.”
