La De Da 10-Year Anniversary Celebration

  • La De Da 13 North Harrison Street Easton, MD, 21601 United States (map)

Early in 2006, Diane Towers and Diane Flagler (aka “The Double D’s”) hatched an idea, scary as it was…..

They wanted to open a fun, funky boutique that would offer unique clothing and jewelry.  They put their heads together (which amounted to one head) and came up with

LA DE DA, a Boutique with Attitude!

The doors opened with lots of enthusiasm in the fall of that year!

Since neither of the Diane’s accepted the phrase, “ you can’t do that,” in 2009, while the economy was tanking, the “Double D’s” decided to move next door to 13 North Harrison Street and quadrupled La De Da’s size.

As time passed, LA DE DA expanded its inventory of clothing, jewelry, accessories, and fun gifts.  They also expanded their sales team with the addition of Sarah Keating and Rosemarie Rasin.

The Double D’s had so many requests to open another store and/or an online store that they decided to sit down and have a serious chat!  They talked of opening a store at the beach, but all that would have accomplished was a great tan and fun days in the sun.  They decided on-line was the best way to go.

Since neither of them is computer literate, they added Christina Perez as their computer guru.  As soon as Christie started babbling computer terminology, they were lost…..she soon caught them up and LaDeDaToo.com was born.

We will be celebrating our 10th Anniversary beginning Sunday, October 2nd culminating on Friday evening, October the 7th with wine and hors d’oeuvres. All week LA DE DA will be offering customer appreciation discounts.  On Friday, from 10am – 8pm, there will be door prizes given throughout the day.
