We are gearing up for our annual National Travel and Tourism Week celebration on May 6 at Hog Neck Golf Course, and we hope you’ll make time to attend. This is tourism’s day to play, and we have a day of fun planned for you!
We’ll start with our 4th Annual Tee Off FORE Tourism Golf Tournament. Gather a foursome and plan to tee off at 12:30 p.m. If you don’t have a full team, let us know. We’ll find you a spot! For just $49 per player, you can play Hog Neck Golf Course, home of the 2015 Maryland State Golf Association's Qualifier for the 2015 Men's Maryland Open and Men's Maryland Amateur. Golfers have the potential to win a new car from Preston Ford and a new spa from Aqua Pools, plus each player gets free admission to the afternoon cookout and cocktail party.
If you don’t golf, don’t worry. We’ve planned fun for you too! The Inaugural Crab Putt Putting Contest will begin at 4:30 p.m. Even if you don’t golf, you can try your hand at putting for prizes and bragging rights. We’ll also have a couple of Corn Hole games set up.
The day culminates with a cookout and cocktail party at Hog Neck’s Picnic Pavilion. You can network with other members of the tourism industry, as well as many of the area’s elected officials. It’s a great way to end the day. Admission is $10 per person.
So make plans now to come out and celebrate your industry! All proceeds go to support the Talbot County Office of Tourism.
If you have questions, don’t hesitate to call the Tourism Office at (410) 770-8000. Also, please give us the courtesy of an RSVP by Monday, May 4, 2015 so we can plan.
