With the modern "farm-to-table" mentality at the forefront of true foodie's minds, the restaurants of Easton are no exception. When deciding the seasonal menus, our chefs take pride in using local proprietors and farmers, some even utilizing the rich earth of the Eastern Shore and have garden locations to harvest their own produce and herbs. The restauranteurs are attuned to the dietary restrictions of their patrons; you will see on a typical menu, options for organic, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and nut-free; most can accommodate any dietary need upon request. Easton hosts two farmers markets: Amish Country Farmers Market and an outdoor Farmers Market (April - December). You can even check out Easton's food tours, Eating Easton.

Bartlett Pear Inn is truly a foodie experience. "We try to incorporate our passion for all things fresh in everything we do- local, natural, wholesome. This philosophy allows us to stretch our imagination across all aspects of our business. Without the help of our local farmers, dedicated teammates, and supportive families, we wouldn’t be who we are" says Chef Jordan. With a long list of accolades that demonstrate the extreme quality this team puts forth, the quaint Inn and Restaurant marks Easton on the foodie map. Look for wine dinners and tastings, cooking classes and Life of an Ingredient episodes to name a few.
Brasserie Brightwell is trendy yet unassuming. Its a cultural hub for the food lovers serving a seasonal menu that boasts fresh local ingredients while utilizing traditional French and Asian flavors. The layout was well thought out: an industrial space maintained yet transformed into a warm environment with an open kitchen, soft comfy benches along one side and tables, kitchen and raw bear counters for many seating options. There is also a large patio for outdoor dining accompanied with a bar. Make sure you check out their late evening entertainment schedule - local talent
performs on the patio during the warmer seasons.
Hills Cafe & Juice Bar is one of Easton's hide-a-way gems. Tucked back inside Hill's Drug Store on Dover Street, the cafe is characteristic of an old-fashioned soda fountain. However their menu has a more modern focus, being mindful of using fresh local ingredients for a fun and inspiring menu. JMX Juice is also offered here - many locals start their day with one of Owner Jenn's Magic Elixir blends. Try their Tarragon Chicken Salad (try on their Garden Salad) and of course, their old-fashioned milkshakes!
Hunters’ Tavern is the award-winning restaurant located at the Tidewater Inn in the center of downtown Easton. With both indoor and outdoor seating, Hunters’ Tavern offers exceptional service, monthly wine features, and delicious food featuring fresh, seasonal, local produce & seafood. Another inspiring menu that uses local ingredients, look for their famous snapper soup! The fireplace on the patio and rocking chairs under the columns make this a popular meeting ground for guests as well as the locals.
