EASTON — Curlicue, a shopping destination in downtown Easton for fun, unique and imaginative gifts and home accessories was featured in the Dec. 7 gift giving issue of the national publication Us Weekly.
“It was very exciting to get the call that one of our best sellers, the Pug Pillow had been chosen for the annual gift giving issue and that my store was going to be listed as the source,” Louisa Parkinson, store owner, said in a Curlicue news release.
Parkinson has been working closely with the manufacturer of the pillow, Karma Living, to ensure inventory levels so that all the online and phone orders are fulfilled right away.
“It’s been a challenge, but it’s the kind of challenge I like to have,” she said in the release.
To help share the good karma that the Pug Pillow and its manufacturer Karma Living have brought Curlicue, and in the spirit of Easton Business Alliance’s campaign to shop local, Parkinson will contribute all net proceeds from the sale of two other of Karma Living’s pillows — The Rabbit, and the Fox with Glasses — to The Star Democrat‘s Brighter Christmas Fund.
Both of the pillows are embroidered and edged with pompoms similar to the featured pug. This special applies for sales through New Year’s and while supplies last.
“What a great opportunity for me to share with Easton the national excitement generated through US Weekly and participate in a wonderful holiday giving tradition: the Brighter Christmas Fund,” Parkinson said in the release.
Curlicue is at 19 Goldsborough St. in downtown Easton. For more information, call 443-746-3095 or visit www.curlicuethestore.com.
