The Historic Avalon Theatre has become a cornerstone of Mid-Shore community life, balancing its role as a presenter and provider for local community talent. Studio B Art Gallery is centrally located in the heart of downtown on Goldsborough Street. Working from sketches, photos and memory, Owner/Artist Betty Huang is an award-winning artist and a member of both Oil Painters of America and Working Artists Forum. Oil paintings in still life, landscapes and Plein Air paintings. You will often find Betty in her window front painting!
Trippe-Hilderbrandt Gallery is Easton’s liveliest art gallery in the heart of the historic district on Harrison Street featuring fine art photography by Nanny Trippe as well as oils, watercolors and botanical art paintings by award winning artists Don Hilderbrandt, Roberta Seger, Joe Mayer, Lee D’Zmura and Meg Walsh to name a few. The gallery also features works by well-known Plein Air Easton painters Elise Phillips, David Csont and Len Mizerek. Bronze equine sculpture by Joan Bennett and the metal sculpture of John C. North further enhance the collection. The themes and art are ever rotating so there is always new work to see as well as visiting artists. A gallery where there is truly something for everyone!
Vintage Books and Fine Art is an independent bookstore and gallery across from Thompson Park on Dover Street. Specializing in Maryland lore/history, 18th and 19th century American history and other items related to our State and the Chesapeake Bay, Owner Tim Boyle finds a wide selection of unique and rare books and artifacts. The store also carries local collections featuring the work of well-known artists and supports local and up and coming artists. Orders can be shipped around the world.
